St. Joseph not just a Quick Fix for Fevers!
The Charlottesville market is still pretty doggone good this year. I know that we keep hearing doom and gloom. But the sales stats in our MLS are running just behind last year! We are on target for the 2nd best year EVER!
I was surprised to find that in other areas people are actually burying a St. Joseph in the front yard. Head down, feet up and facing the street. The thought is that he will work harder for you to get out of the hole. Don't forget they say to dig him up and take him with you when the house goes under contract, which should be very quickly.

Somehow, burying St Joseph doesn't seem respectful to me, but it certainly indicates how difficult in some areas the market has become. Northern Virginia is rumored to be off 40% this year. Whew! That will make many turn to spiritual aids.
